Cellmed has developed a haemoglobin test kit for the testing of the haemoglobin level in human blood which is primarily sold to blood banks and doctors' surgeries. The kit contains of a diagnostic instrument (photometer) and a disposable (cuvette).

Fresenius has acquired a worldwide distribution licence for the blood bank, hospital and dialysis market.
Distribution franchises are currently available for the worldwide doctor’s surgery / practice market (GPs, gynaecologists, etc.).
The cosmetic dermatology programme is carried on in partnership with the pharmaceuticals subsidiary of the Merz Group, and is focused on the dermal filler market segment.
Dermal filler products address the market for the cosmetic treatment of facial wrinkles and are injected in a non-surgical procedure. Merz selected CellMed’s technology because it was looking for a next-generation material to improve on the products that make up the $900m US market.
The programme made good progress in 2006 and the product is expected to enter clinical trials in the second half of 2007. Market launch is expected in 2010.
